Just curious. I’m so sick of buying new ink cartridges. I transferred the color inks from a new ink cartridge I bought last year that went to an old printer to my empty cartridge in my newer printer by using syringes. It worked great.

Now, I’m curious about the black one. I don’t have any old black ink cartridges, but I’m an artist and I have a ton of black india ink. Will this work or is it totally incompatible? Thanks.

I plan on making a multitude of copies. Like 100 copies of a 5-6 page packet. And I plan on doing this monthly. My printer can make copies at my own expense of ink, paper, and time. Or, I can pay a store such as the UPS store to do it for me. I just want to know what would be cheaper.
A six page packet cost $32 black and white at the UPS store. Does anyone know, roughly, how many pages of text and a few pictures I could get out of an inkjet black ink cartridge. Much appreciated.

I filled the ink cartridge and I’m trying to reset the chip without buying a resetter. It’s Epson stylus CX7400
