The HP Black Ink cartridges are very expensive ($28). Does anyone know of a cheaper black ink cartridge compatible with HP Printer as stated above or do I HAVE to use HP ink cartridges if I want to or not?

I recently cleaned out the office and found alot of expired HP ink cartridges. Does anybody know if they are still good, or is there somewhere that I can take them. Maybe a non-profit organization that could sell them, or any office supply stores that will buy the cartridges.

I work at a company the does some digital printing with a large digital printer…. I am all about recycling…. However I have yet to find someone that will take the HP 750 ink cartridges. Not even HP. Can anyone help?

I know OfficeMax takes HP, Dell, Lexmark ink cartridges back for recycling and even give financial rewards. Is there a similar program for Brothers brand ink cartridges?

I have just bought an HP D1460 printer mainly because I have several unused HP21 and 22 ink cartridges.
Now I find there is a cunning device which prevents me using these - probably because of their age, although they work fine on a D3940.
The helpful message simply says there is a problem with the right hand ink cartridge and of course fails to print. I can immediately replace the original cartridge and all is fine.
Can anyone please say how I can disable this? Thanks.
